<p>Everyone has heard the &#8220;Offense sells tickets, but defense wins championships,&#8221; but is it true? Of course it is true, because to win you need to play defense. You do not know from night to night if your shot is going to go in, but you defense will always be there. That just takes hard work and practice.</p>
<p>So why is it that you never see kids practicing their defensive drills in their driveway? Because they are either too flashy or do not know any. These individual defensive drills will make you the player your coach puts in to shut down the other teams stud.</p>
<p>Drills that will help with your quickness:</p>
<p>Lines- Jump back and forth, and side to side over lines with both feet and one foot at a time. You want quick little jumps.</p>
<p>5 dots- In this drills you jump in patterns from dot to dot. You want to make 5 dots, 1 in the middle and 4 in the shape of a box outside of the middle one.</p>
<p>Bounding- This drill trains you to bound on defense and not just run everywhere. Start this drill out on one foot and then jump as far as you can in a random direction an another direction landing on your other foot. Keep on doing this, but only do it for a short period of time. You are wanting to train your muscles to be explosive so go hard for a short amount of time. </p>
<p>Different Game Situations</p>
<p>Shuffle- Use the push slide step technique, not overlapping your feet. (The push slid step technique is push with one leg; slide the other one next to it, and the step.) Go back and forth across the lane staying in the defensive stance. While doing this, you must have one hand inches from the ground and one hand up. The one hand up is to be in the players face in game ready to block/distract shot while the low hand is the pesky hand  preventing the crossover and therefore forcing the playing you are guarding one direction and always making him uncomfortable.</p>
<p>Closing Out- Start out of bounds and put a cone at the free throw line. Imagine the cone as an imaginary person. Run at it and then chop step when you get close with your but down and hands up being ready for the shot and drive. Practice like it is a real game, or you will get burned in a real game.</p>
<p>Ball Drill- Shuffle along the wall while passing it off the wall at the same time back to yourself. Remember in all these drills the most important thing is to stay in your defensive stance at all times and that it is about technique, not how fast you go.</p>

<p>Mental mind pictures spring into our head when we think of our ideal life scenario. Maybe we see a more prestigious home or a stylish vehicle in our mind&#8217;s eye. Nearly every one of us will picture ourselves as slimmer and more attractive, with stylish clothes to wear.</p>
<p>Such ideas concentrate on things we&#8217;d like to have. With no destination in mind, we&#8217;ll get no-where.</p>
<p>Positive visualisation alone won&#8217;t bring results though. We must accept that changes will be needed. &#8220;The definition of insanity,&#8221; according to Albert Einstein, &#8220;is to do the same thing and expect different results.&#8221; Said another way &#8211; we&#8217;ll always have what we&#8217;ve always had if we&#8217;re not prepared to change the things we do.</p>
<p>For big leaps forward in what we have, we need to make huge changes not only to the way we do things, but also (more importantly) to the way we think. So the right thought process and effort comes first, to achieve the results we want to have. We&#8217;re familiar with the elementary truth that to get, we first have to give. But the rewards we want won&#8217;t just turn up purely from doing the work.</p>
<p>We accomplish success by embracing the thoughts and behaviour of a successful person &#8211; assuming the characteristics and values of a winner before we&#8217;ve actually become one. For instance, if our aim is to slim down and lose twenty five pounds in weight, then we must work-out and eat in the same way a lighter, healthier person would do.</p>
<p>The exercise must take priority over fun with friends. Success dictates that reward will follow effort. Adopting a good mental attitude to the things that have to be done will result in much faster weight loss.</p>
<p>Victory won&#8217;t come looking for us. A robust attitude to our efforts will support us when we experience the knocks.</p>
<p>We can associate with winning attitudes by reading, watching films and interviews of others who&#8217;ve overcome adversities on their road to victory. A common philosophy seems to be apparent each time &#8211; their beliefs and attitudes were strong from the start. So the formula is apparent &#8211; to have what we want, and relish the tasks we need to do, we must first embrace who we have to be.</p>

<p>Cysts on ovaries arise mainly because of a woman&#8217;s normal ovulation process, but before we address how they come about, let&#8217;s answer the question &#8211; what are these cysts?</p>
<p>Ovarian cysts are small fluid sacs that develop on a woman&#8217;s ovaries. They are most common in women during their reproductive years and tend to resolve naturally without any medical intervention.</p>
<p>Most cysts are harmless but some can become troublesome and cause problems such as bleeding, rupturing, and abdominal pain. </p>
<p><strong>How do these Ovarian cysts form?</strong></p>
<p>Women normally have two ovaries that store and release eggs on a monthly basis. Each ovary about the size of a walnut, is located on each side of a woman&#8217;s uterus. </p>
<p>One ovary produces and releases an egg each month, as part of a woman&#8217;s monthly menstrual cycle. </p>
<p>The egg is enclosed in a sac called a follicle and this follicle grows inside the ovary until the hormone estrogen signals the uterus to prepare itself for the egg. The follicle containing the egg is then released from the ovary. </p>
<p>The follicle itself then releases the egg and this egg travels down the fallopian tube into the uterus for fertilisation.</p>
<p>A shell called Corpus Luteum, is left behind after the follicle has released it&#8217;s contents.</p>
<p>In turn, the uterus begins to thicken itself and prepare for pregnancy. If the egg is not fertilised all the contents of uterus as expelled as part of the monthly menstrual cycle.</p>
<p>If a follicle after being released from the ovary fails to rupture and release the egg, the fluid remains and forms a cyst on the ovary. </p>
<p>Ovarian cysts tend to resemble bubbles; filled with fluid and surrounded by thin walls. This type of cyst is called a functional or simple cyst and affects women of all ages.</p>
<p>Most of them are also benign (meaning non-cancerous) and tend to disappear on their own within a few weeks without any form of treatment.</p>
<p><strong>Types of Cysts That Can Form On Ovaries:</strong></p>
<p>The most common ovarian cyst is the <strong>Follicular cyst</strong> and it is formed when ovulation (the release of the egg by the follicle) does not occur or when a mature follicle collapses on itself.</p>
<p>It can grow to about 2.3 inches in diameter and when it ruptures can create a sharp severe pain on the side of the ovary on which the cyst resides.  Usually, these cysts don&#8217;t produce any symptoms and disappear by themselves within a few months.  </p>
<p>Other types of cysts on ovaries include the <strong>Corpus luteum cyst:</strong> This type of functional ovarian cyst occurs after an egg has been released from a follicle. </p>
<p>After this happens, the follicle becomes what is known as a corpus luteum. </p>
<p>If a pregnancy does not occur, the corpus luteum usually breaks down and disappears. It may, however, close up on itself, fill with fluid or blood, and persist on the ovary. </p>
<p><strong>Hemorrhagic cyst:</strong> This type of functional cyst occurs when bleeding occurs within a cyst. </p>
<p><strong>Dermoid cyst:</strong> This abnormal cyst usually affects younger women and may grow to 6 inches in diameter. </p>
<p>This cyst is similar to those present on skin tissue and can contain fat and occasionally bone, hair, and cartilage. </p>

<p>No batteries last forever, and mobility scooter batteries are no exception. They will need replacing sooner or later, and there are certain types might last a very long time, even they will need replacing eventually.</p>
<p>Replacing the battery depends on your particular model of mobility scooter, but it is typically a quick and easy process. The battery will be the thing that you have to replace most frequently, so if you haven&#8217;t even bought a mobility scooter yet, make sure that you buy one in which it is easy to replace the battery. </p>
<p>Make sure that the battery is going to last a long time. In order to insure a longer lifespan, you need to look after it in the correct way. <p>Even those who aren&#8217;t really avid fans of the performer just can&#8217;t help but admire her healthy fit body and unlimited supply of pure energy. Before we move to her exercise routines, Madonna owes her fine slim body to a short term diet that is sure to slice off 3 to 5 pounds of your weight every week for six weeks. </p>
<p>Madonna&#8217;s diet program usually encourages her to take only a cup of whole grain cereals added with a cup of plain nonfat rice milk for her breakfast. The singer&#8217;s lunch on the other hand is settled with 3 oz of grilled chicken breast and a cup of chopped tomato and cucumber. A cup of mixed berries is Madonna&#8217;s favorite for snacks. And then to effectively end the day, the singer&#8217;s dinner is composed of a cup of organic pasta and a cup of steamed spinach. </p>
<p>Tracy Anderson, which is Madonna&#8217;s trainer, claims that the singer&#8217;s diet is perfectly healthy. In this particular diet, the person involved is strictly prohibited to eat processed foods, dairy, and almost all types of spices. Furthermore, the singer&#8217;s diet involves regular daily intake of water of 1.5 to 3 liters. </p>
<p>When it comes to exercise routines, the true secret lies in the constant changing of the routine and combining it with dancing as well as with some other types of cardio training. Some cardio training that Madonna usually does is the treadmill sprints, running on a trampoline, and jumping rope. The singer also manages to squeeze in some weight lifting and crunches in her very busy schedule. According to Tracy Anderson, changing exercise routines is important in preventing bulk ups on any muscle groups. </p>
<p>Madonna in the first place has the advantage of having her own gym at home. Moreover, she only chooses to stay in hotels that are guaranteed to have excellent gyms. Other than the above mentioned exercise routines, Madonna also constantly practices Ashtanga Yoga which is proven to be not for the faint hearted. However, it is through sheer self discipline that Madonna manages to cope with the daily exercise routines.
